Stablecoin Standard Launches Stablecoin Standard Brand Ambassador Program

London, UK - December 16th

The first brand Ambassador in the program, Jude Anumudu, has been appointed as Stablecoin Standard Regional Ambassador for Africa—timed with a pivotal moment of growth in stablecoin adoption in the region.

Stablecoin Standard (“SCS”), the global industry body for stablecoins, today commenced the Stablecoin Standard Brand Regional Ambassador Program (“Brand Ambassador Program”). This initiative will focus on developing an international network of ambassadors who will conduct stablecoin education in their respective markets.

Starting with Africa, SCS has appointed Jude Anumudu as Stablecoin Standard Brand Ambassador for Africa. Anumudu is a prominent voice within the stablecoin and payments space, with extensive experience in scaling web3 ecosystems and fostering conversations between leading industry brands. As a SCS Ambassador, Anumudu will be a key representative of the SCS in the Africa region, promoting the industry body’s mission while educating key industry stakeholders, policymakers, and local residents on the growing role of stablecoins in the global digital economy. Anumudu is responsible for leading educational initiatives through local events and webinars in addition to other regional initiatives.

Jude Anumudu, Stablecoin Standard Brand Ambassador for Africa commented, “I am honored to serve as an Brand Ambassador to champion SCS’ mission of unifying stablecoin adoption among the industry and policymakers. Now that SCS has built the framework for the ecosystem to operate more transparently and collaboratively, educating policymakers and local communities is the next step in proliferating the stablecoin beyond institutional walls—turning it into a vehicle for daily purchases, loans, international money transfers, and more use cases in Africa’s financial system.”

Currently the Business Development Manager (Africa) at Damisa, Anumudu oversees partnerships, customer acquisition strategies, and market research—working with African businesses, government bodies, and non-governmental organizations to expand Damisa’s market share. As a conference organizer, he is the Founder of Web3 Global Conference, which drew over 400 attendees and secured over 30 brand partners in 2024. Anumudu recently began working on additional regulatory efforts as Ecosystem & Operations Manager of the Africa Blockchain & FinTech Chamber, the policy group dedicated to advancing blockchain & fintech innovation policy across the continent.

“We are pleased to welcome Jude to share the knowledge that will support policymakers, industry stakeholders, and the general public in Africa in engaging with stablecoins more actively,” said Christian Walker, Co-Founder and Chairman of Stablecoin Standard. “Jude’s background in building strategic partnerships combined with his professional network within the public and private sectors positions him solidly to ensure Stablecoin Standard’s mission resonates with a diverse set of audiences. As demand for stablecoins grows in Africa, education will be crucial to overcome systemic risks and open opportunities for the next generation of users to generate wealth in a market projected to grow by billions in economic value over the next decade.”
